With the impact of substance abuse on our communities, the prison systems, homicide rate, pre-marital sex etc., every ministry that desires to be relevant must be aggressively addressing this issue.

Bishop Dwight Wilkins
94% of clergy members recognize substance abuse as an important issue among family members in their congregations. Almost 38% believe that alcohol abuse is involved in half or more of the family problems they confront; yet only 12.5% of clergy completed course work related to substance abuse while studying to be a member of the clergy.
