Bishop Dwight Wilkins

Bishop Wilkins, one of the pioneers in the Reviving the Human Spirit initiative, is pastor of Macedonia Living Word Fellowship and is president of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance and past president of the Baptist Ministers' Conference. Bishop Wilkins served as Program Director of the Findlay Street Neighborhood House for several years, before becaming Director of Chaplaincy at the University Hospital. He is active in numerous Civic and Social Organizations. He has been awarded an Outstanding Young Men of American Award. Bishop Wilkins has served on numerous Board and Advisory Groups and presently sits on the Board of Trustees for Temple Bible College and Seminary. He has a B.S. Degree from University Of Cincinnati, a B.A. Degree from Temple Community Bible College and a M.A. Degree from Temple Baptist College. He also has a Master of Religious Education degree from Cincinnati Christian College and Seminary. In 2000, the Temple Bible College and Seminary awarded Bishop Wilkins with an Honorary Doctor of Divinity. Bishop Wilkins sees addiction and its consequences as a serious problem in all congregations, and believes pastors have a responsibility to address it.
